Finally, PICTURES!

So far, the "cutest" ultrasound pictures we've gotten to date. While a very thorough and generally friendly group of people, the ultrasound technicians have obviously done this many times, had several children of their own, and aren't not nearly as amazed by the whole thing as we are. They don't hit the print button always when we'd like them to and despite the very fancy machine, its still paper and ink. Therefore, we have to scan the print-outs in - hence the less than fine quality. (Awfully picky aren't we?) Does the profile shot show James' big nose? We sure hope not! More to come in a few weeks.

Here she is at 12 weeks 5 days:

And at 15 weeks 3 days:

Exciting News

In case you haven't heard, Danielle is expecting! She's 15 weeks along - we don't know if it's a boy or girl and if we find out, we may keep it a secret. Bad, aren't we? We have a 4-D ultrasound from 12w5d - I'll scan it in soon. Due date: March 8, 2008.

UPDATE 9/25/07 : We've decided to share the news - we're joining the ranks of most of our friends and adding another BABY GIRL to the group. Name has yet to be solidified but we're pretty sure we've got it figured out.

UPDATE 10/1/07: We've decided on Evelyn as the baby's first name. Danielle's grandma's first name was Evelyn, James' great grandmother's name was Evangeline - a nice tribute to two family matriarchs. We'll probably shorten it to Evey for fun. Middle name as of yet undecided but she won't have two, nor will their be a hypen ;-)

Beautiful Colorado

Thanks Jay & Cara! We went to Breckenridge on Thursday after a debacle of misconnects in Chicago and getting separated from our luggage. Contrary to advice from the locals, we skiied on Friday in Breck in 5 degree temps (-20 degree windchills)! I think that puts us in the "extreme skiers" category.
On Saturday, we went back to Breack and they had most of the mountain closed down because of the weather and told us to head to Keystone. Are we glad we did - an absolute beautiful day of skiing!
We only wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks again to Jay & Cara for being great hosts!
